I tailor sessions and learning to suit your child's needs.  Private tutoring is becoming increasingly popular.  It is particularly effective in improving not only a student’s academic grades, but also their practical understanding of wide range of subjects.  My own unique coaching style of teaching also increases the confidence and resilience of my students; attributes they can transfer into other subjects and activities.

 

As an experienced teacher of over 30 years I offer SATS, GCSE, A level and first year degree individual maths tutoring.  I have taught at all levels from junior to prep school, senior through to university and am fully DBS checked.  I also help adult learners with maths and statistics for job interviews, career progression and course entry.

 

Home educated students are usually taught in 1 to 2 hour slots several times each week during term times, whilst after school students usually have an hour’s session per week. Extra holiday tuition/revision sessions are also available by prior arrangement.

• A level £40 per hour

• HE/degree level £45 per hour

 

​After school tutoring is between 3pm and 7pm each weekday. Home educated students receive lessons during daytime hours. Distance learners are also supported using applications such as Face Time and Zoom which enable online teaching.

Tutoring is invoiced in advance on a monthly or term by term basis.  Individual ad hoc sessions can be arranged based on availability.
